Questions Regarding eBay Motors
1. How does eBay work?
eBay works as an online auction site. Unlike other forms of
advertisements, on eBay people actually buy cars by bidding on them.
That is why, eBay has become so popular. eBay Motors attracts 11 million
unique visitors per month compared to Autotrader.com with only 4 million
visitors per month.
2. What are the best
selling cars on eBay?
The reality is that everything sells for the right price, whether it
is Ferrari selling for $200,000 or a Ford escort for $3000. With 11
million monthly visitors, there is enough market for any type of cars.
3. How should I price my
car on eBay?
We can do a pricing research for you at no cost, but to set your
reserve price low is always a good strategy, as the final price can
reach and exceed the reserve price. Too high reserve price can
discourage people to bid. We will gladly assist you with pricing upon
your kind request.
4. What is a bid?
A bid is a legal contract and a commitment from the bidder to
purchase the vehicle at the bid price.
5. Why is the eBay Motors
the #1 automotive site in the world?
eBay Motors has twice the traffic of autotrader.com, 75 million
registered users, 11 million visitors per month makes eBay Motors the
most visited automotive site in the world.
6.
What is a No Reserve and Reserve Auction?
No Reserve auctions – simply means, that you are selling your
car without the protect price. It will sell to the highest bidder no
matter what. You can also start the auction at your price with no
reserve. Reserve auctions – simply means, that you as a seller
set a minimum price that you are willing to sell it for. The reserve
price will remain hidden for bidders until at least equivalent bid has
been placed. You will not sell your car unless the reserve price has
been met.
7. Is it possible if the
bid price goes higher than my reserve price?
Absolutely, and it happens very often. You may get higher price for
your vehicle than you assumed, which results in better than expected
sale price.
